Atlantic Airlines takes delivery of 10th 737-400F

Atlantic Airlines, trading as West Atlantic (UK) has taken delivery of it's tenth Boeing 737-400F freighter (MSN 25113), on lease from VX Capital Partners (US).

The Coventry based freight company's jet fleet also includes five 737-300Fs. The airline's primary business is scheduled nighttime freight service, as well as ad hoc charters on behalf of other airlines and freight forwarders and brokers.

This brings the in service 737-400F fleet to 144 aircraft (curiously the same number of 737-300Fs are also currently in service).

Jettime 'calls time' on freight operations

Jettime (Denmark) has ended dedicated freight services, returning it's final Boeing 737-400F to it's lessor last month. The airline is to now increase focus on it's scheduled and charter passenger services. Jettime operated six 737 freighters between 2013 and 2017: 1 x 737-300F and 5 x 737-400F. Jettime's current passenger fleet comprises 4 x 737-300 and 5 x 737-700.

ASL Airlines 737s start to appear in FedEx colors

ASL Airlines (Belgium division) Boeing 737-400Fs are starting to appear in FedEx Express full colors, operating European freight services for the US package delivery giant. It's a long time since a 737 has appeared in FedEx colors. The company briefly operated five new 737-200Cs between 1979 and 1981, before moving to 727-100 and -200s as it's main narrowbody platform. All 727s are retired, with over 100 757 freighters now in service with the carrier.

Express Freighters receives first 737-400F

Express Freighters (Australia) took delivery of it's first Boeing 737-400F (MSN 24796/1887 VH-XNH), to be operated for Qantas. It joins a fleet of 4 x 737-300Fs and 1 767-300F.

Estafeta Carga Aerea...leases first 737-400F

Estafeta Carga Aerea (Mexico) leased it's first Boeing 737-400F (MSN 28894) from VX Capital (US). The freighter adds to Estafeta's existing fleet of 4 x 737-300Fs and 2 x Bombardier CRJ-100Fs.
