Condor leases a first A330-200


Condor (Germany) sub-leased an A330-200 from Air Transat (Canada) for the winter. This is the first A330 to be operated by Condor, which to date has operated 767-300ERs on it's long haul services. The airline does operate a modest fleet of nine A320s (with additional aircraft wet leased in during the summer) and seven A321s.

Nordwind Airlines leases first A330-200


Nordwind Airlines (Russia) took delivery on July 7th of it's first Airbus A330-200 (MSN 1213 VP-BYU), leased from AerCap. The aircraft was delivered new to TAM Brasil in April 2011, and most recently operated with THY Turkish Airlines between April 2015 and October 2016. A second example (MSN 1221) with a similar history, was delivered July 10th.

Nordwind's fleet now numbers 21 jet aircraft: 8 x 737-800, 4 x 777-200ER, 7 x A321, 2 x A330-200

Capital Airlines takes delivery of first new A330-200


Capital Airlines (China) has taken delivery of it's first new Airbus A330-200 (MSN 1775 B-8981), adding to 4 used ex-Garuda aircraft in it's fleet, along with two new A330-300s delivered in 2016. All are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent engines. Capital's narrowbody fleet is made up entirely of Airbus A320 family aircraft: 20 A319s, 34 A320s and 11 A321s.

LEVEL prepares for take-off


IAG's newest airline affiliate LEVEL will commence low cost long haul operations Jun 1st 2017 from Barcelona. The first of two initial Airbus A330-200s has been ferried from Manchester after painting. All flights will be operated by Iberia, with IB flight codes, cockpit and cabin crew. The first revenue service was from Barcelona to Los Angeles, CA

Jet2 leases an A330-200


Jet2 (UK) wet-leased an Airbus A330-200 (MSN 1555) from Air Tanker (UK), it's first use of a widebody aircraft. The aircraft will be based at Manchester for the summer, operating on Jet2's busiest European holiday routes. The airline plans to again lease the aircraft for Summer 2018.
