Alaska Airlines receives first 737-700 freighter
Alaska Airlines has taken delivery of it's first Boeing 737-700F freighter (N627AS MSN 30794). The aircraft was converted by IAI Bedek in Tel Aviv, this being the first -700 conversion in the world, with service entry expected before the end of 2017.
Alaska's original 737-200Fs and -200Cs were replaced by 737-400 freighters and combis, and now supplemented by the more capable 737-700F, which offers a maximum payload of 40,000lb and range of 3,200 miles.
