Atlas Air acquires first 747-400ERF
Atlas Air (US) acquired it's first Boeing 747-400ERF, leased from Altavair Finance (US). The aircraft (msn 33515) is the first of two ex Korean Air 747-4B5ERF the airline will lease.
Atlas Air's current fleet includes 31 747 freighters, including ten 747-8Fs and 20 747-400Fs. Four passenger 747-400s are also operated (mostly on military charters), along with 31 767-200F/300F freighters, nine of which are now dedicated to Amazon Prime Air operations, a growing segment of it's business.
