AirBaltic plans to sell it's fleet of 12 Q400s in favor of jets, either additional CSeries aircraft or E195 E-2s

Cathay Pacific plans to create a regional hub at Dubai for passenger and cargo services within the Middle East.

Hong Kong Airlines to launch routes to London, New York and San Francisco in 2018. The airline also plans to start a daily Hong Kong to Los Angeles service this December.

Scoot is planning fifth freedom flights from Indian cities to points in Europe.

Two Indian low cost airlines, Spicejet and IndiGo are seeking to launch service to London (LGW). Equipment and dates to be decided.

USGlobal Airways to acquire Songbird Airways effective October 15th.

VLM (Slovenia) to add jets later in 2017, possibly Fokker 70s and A320s, adding to three Fokker 50s currently operated.

THY Turkish Airlines is reported to be negotiating with Boeing for up to eight 747-8I passenger aircraft.

United Airlines ordered 45 A350-900s to replace 777-200ERs from 2022. The order was created by converting 35 A350-1000s on order to -900s, plus 10 new orders.
